2017 Sauvignon Blanc, Eco Terreno Vineyard

Gold - LA International Wine Competition This enticing white wine leaves you with flavors of fresh fig, honeydew melon, and papaya. Beautiful texture and a light citrus finish.

Alcohol: 14.2%

pH: 3.18

Farming Practice: Grapes grown by certified Biodynamic farming methods.

Tasting Notes: Fresh and enticing, this Sauvignon Blanc has what most others don’t, a hint of Semillon (18%). The result is a rich wine with flavors of fresh fig, honeydew melon, and papaya. A nice texture is what you’ll feel between the sweet entry and light citrus finish.

Vineyard: Our Eco Terreno Vineyard is located at the northern end of the Alexander Valley, where the alluvial soils are rich, and the diurnal swings are continuous. The grapes that are derived from here are old, gnarly vines; they command respect because of their age. They produce less than the younger vines, but make up in concentrated flavors. The Biodynamic grapes are kept shaded by beautiful, lush canopies. The vineyard is 122 acres, which is the largest Biodynamic vineyard in Sonoma County.
